Why is new Outlook drag and drop not working?
New Outlook is built more like a web app than classic Outlook, while many business apps expect a normal Windows file drop. The result is familiar: you drag an email or attachment, the cursor says no, or the drop does nothing. Magic Dragin supplies the file handoff those apps expect.

Why is Teams drag drop not working?
Teams files are cloud-backed, so dragging them to another app does not always produce a file the destination can accept. Magic Dragin makes the Teams item available as a normal file drop.

Where can I drag files from?
Supported sources include New Outlook, Outlook on the web, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Gmail, Slack, Missive, and Superhuman.
Browser-based sources work in Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera. Native app support includes New Outlook, Teams, Slack, Missive, and Superhuman.

Where can I drop files to?
Anywhere that already accepts file drops or file uploads: Windows apps, File Explorer folders, browser drop zones, Teams, Slack, SharePoint, CRMs, ERPs, document systems, and line-of-business web apps.
Does Magic Dragin create extra file copies?
No extra permanent copies. Magic Dragin uses a temporary file for the drop, similar to what Windows would create when you download an attachment or drag to File Explorer.
Do I need to sign in to my email account separately?
No. Magic Dragin works with the session you already have open in Outlook, Gmail, Teams, SharePoint, or the other supported source app.
Which platforms can run Magic Dragin?
Magic Dragin supports x64 versions of Windows 10 or later, or Windows Server 2022 or later. ARM-based devices are not currently supported.

How do I deploy it to my team/organization at scale?
For IT deployment
Deploy at scale by importing the MSIX package into Intune or any other software distribution tool. It installs to a centralized per-machine location and updates itself without user intervention. You can also provision it for all current and future users on a device with PowerShell:
Add-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online -PackagePath "<path to MSIX>" -SkipLicense- After provisioning, ensure the app launches once to enable its startup task. Options:
- Intune — Push a Custom Configuration Profile (Windows 10 and later, Templates → Custom) with the LaunchAppAfterLogOn OMA-URI setting:
